So, not that anyone cares, but I've been following the newer series Astonishing X-Men (i'm also reading New Avengers and Amazing Spider-Man, but I digress) since its beginning (we're comin' up on Issue 11, so that's not a very long time) and I have to say I'm likin' it quite a bit.
It was a bit jarring to see Colossus brought back from the dead, dealing with a team consisting of the romantic pairing of Cyclops and Emma Frost (jean having died saving the world a while back), and having the Danger Room become its own entity (a walking, talking robot like form simply called Danger) and attacking the entire team, wiping them out (cuz...it knows all their moves, of course) and now flying off to Genosha to battle the one and only Charles Xavier. Damn. I love parentheses.
Of course by "jarring" I mean quite entertaining/fun. And while I'm more than sure that last part probably made little to no sense to someone uninformed, it's quite a sight to behold (and well handled by writer Joss Whedon whose work in other fields I've always liked).
This thread really has no purpose, I was just curious if anyone else has found this book interesting, like myself and odds are I'll keep it alive by talking to myself and discussing the many things I find interesting about it. Go, me!!!!
