Heres what I think should happen

1. The Texans - Reggie Bush

2. The Saints - some OT from Va

3. The Titans - Matt Leinart

4. The Jets - Mario Willaims

5. The Packers - AJ Hawk

------------------------------------------------

Here's what I think will happen

1. The Texans - Reggie Bush

2. The Saints - some OT from Va

3. The Titans - Vince Young

4. The Jets - Pee Wee Herman :D OK, M Williams

5. The Packers - AJ Hawk

If I'm Tennessee I'm tempted to bypass the risk/controversey and just take Williams.

Theres a good TE from Maryland that will go in the top 10. :)

Any thoughts on the draft. I think the Texans made a mistake drafting Williams #1 overall. I don't think he's that good (well not worthy of a #1 overall pick). Leinart ended up in a great situation with two PB caliber recievers and a pb caliber rb. Vernon Davis was a nice pick-up for SF and I like the AJ Hawk pick by GB.

Larry, I agree about Willams. Instead of another J Peppers, he could turn out to be another Aundray Bruce ... from .... Auburn :( ... drafted #1 overall by, yep, The Falcons. :( :(

Leinart may have taken a hit to the ego and the wallet, but in the long run, I agree, he'll probably be better off in AZ with those receivers and Denny Greene. I don't know how/why the Vikings let him get away. :-[ Plus he can kind of tutor under whatshisname.

Biggest mistake, still IMO, Tenn taking Vince Young. I believe Fisher and Chow wanted Leinart or Bush but Ownership and management won out. Big mistake IMO, and now Mcnair is leaving??? U oh Spaghetti-Os! Young will be expected to produce immediately , but has to learn to read defenses and he won't be able to "walk" in to the end zone in this league.

I wonder where Akili Smith is these days? ;)

Akili Smith? He pumps my gas now. Heck of a nice guy. ;)

I didn't want to bring up the Williams/Bruce comparison. I thought the Cutler pick was interesting. Is he that good? (I haven't really seen him play). Dennver did a good joke picking up Walker from GB ( >:() >:( >:(

Thanks. :(

Did you happen to see Heath Schuler or Ryan Leaf at the carwash? :D I think Tim Couch is working at Burger King.

Seriously, those high draft choices are a crap shoot and alot depends on the type system or quality of team you land with, especially if you are QB. You have to wonder if Marino or Rothel-less-burger would have had success had they been drafted higher by a sh1tty team. Thats why Leinart is probably better off where he went.

I don't like that carwash. Leaf does a lousy job and talk about attitude. ;)

Excellent point about going to the right team.

Steve Corkran, of the Contra Costa Times, reports Oakland Raiders WR Randy Moss continues to vent his frustration towards the organization. Moss said during a radio interview Monday, Oct. 2, he is not concerned with the team's struggles this season, as the organization, in Moss' opinion, does not appear committed to winning. "I'm not concerned about football right now," Moss said during the interview. "I'm loving life. I don't see anybody else having a concern, so why should I? There are negative things going on now. I'm not the only one unhappy."

I can't tell you how much he isn't missed in Minnesota...

... and just look at how well he's been producing for the Raiders. TO's doing 'brilliantly' in Dallas as well. ::)

Vick to the Raiders?

Maybe I can be a Falcons fan again. Vick and Moss deserve each other.

The Texans didn't listen to me last year and passed up Bush.

Attn Al Davis, DO NOT DRAFT JAMARCUS RUSSELL #1 OVERALL. Go for Calvin Johnson.

Pity Al didn't listen.

Anyway... I'm finding myself torn. It's possible the Vikings could make it to the Super Bowl this year... possible, and I find myself thinking "YAY!"

Then I think... but, there's really no way they're going to actually win it, which then puts us in the position to be pitied by Bills fans. :( I mean, right now, we have the edge because even though both teams have lost the same number of Super Bowls (and yes, never won one >:()... the Bills had four successive shots and couldn't manage it even once.
