This guy cracked me up.
What I didnt like.
VENOM: wow does he suck ass. Venom is suppose to be a fracking beast that towers over Spidey. Instead, we get Eric fracking Foreman. It is rather clear that Raimi has no clue about the character at all. Oh what would have been. A really fracking shame to say the least....
Moon-Face Watson:
Dear Snaggletooth, I hate you. xoxo Celt.
...
So we have Spider-man and 'Back to the Future 2' Goblin vs Skinny Venom and Stay Puff Marshmellow Sandman. And this all out rumble take place inside a steel cage wait no a web of black umm... well web. Yea it is dumber than it sounds. It is here where Parker and Harry decide it is time to express their feelings. So its "Peter, I am a jerk, I love you buddy. I am crying bc of you!" And Peter is "Harry I am sorry your dad is dead. I love you! And I too am crying." It is a fracking joke. Alas, Peter and Harry are unable to find a room together and fight side by side. People die, Sandman expresses remorse for killing Peters Uncle and flys away looking like the swarm of Sentinel's from Matrix sequels.
The end.

LMAO. Nice one. Are you sure it wasn't you or Slag that wrote it? I mean, Moonface seems like you two.

Here's my review. Any similarities to Eagle's are purely a coincidence, a coincidence I tell ya (Its not like I plagerized it.).
The Good: I thought that they did a great job of continuing to build upon Peter and Harry's characters and particularly their relationship. I was reallly impressed by all their scenes together. I really felt the whole brother versus brother dynamic. Franco and Maguire both brought their A game to these scenes.
I also thought they did a good job developing the symbiote and how it affected Peter. Peter's behavoir does turn to the darkside (as it should). Great examples of this are how he handles Eddie Brock stealing and altering an old picture of his and the infamous Jazz Club dancing scene.
J.K. Simmons offers up another good performace as JJJ. Loved the pill scene. The origin of the Sandman was well done.
The Bad: I have to agree with the critics who say that Sam put to much in. I think this caused a few things to not be developed or explored as well as they could have been.
For example, I thought Sam made a mistake by having Eddie become Venom in this film and potentially killing him. More time should have been spent developing Eddie's character and his descent into depression and evil. The church scene should have come as the end leading into Spider-Man 4 with Venom as the villan.
I thought that Flint Marko/Sandman also wasn't given enough screen time. The origin and back story were good but then he doesn't really do much and is never truely developed.
However my biggest beef is that while the Harry-Peter storyline was so good, it could have been developed more. I mean I was waiting for Harry to do more after he struck at Peter's heart.
The Ugly: *Warning Sexist Male Comment Is Forthcoming* Kirsten Dunst never should have been cast in the first place but that aside, man oh man does she look brutal in this film. On looks alone, Gwen is a much better option. As others have said the character of Moon-Face hasn't been written well in the film but Dunst to me gave a poor performance. Also Moon-Face is a real female dog in this film. I keep thinking she's jealous of Peter and seems to have the it should be all about me attitude.
I also didn't like the whole Flint Marko as the possible killer of Uncle Ben. I say possible because when Marko tells te story at the end I thought that it appeared like he didn't fire the gun and it was his partner. However why piss on the origin?
Venom most likely being killed at the end also bugged me. All I can say is what a waste.
Overall I have to say that while the storyline was cohesive, Sam put in too many plot lines and characters and in doing so really didn't develop any of them to their full potential. In closing, I liked the film and feel that its not the disaster that many critics say it is but I don't think its a strong as 1 and 2.

I don't know why but I actual skimmed the SM3 section of the Hype. Some noob has his version of SM3 and Gwen dies (a cheap take on ASM 121) and thats part of Brock's motivation because he loves her. What kind of idiot kills Gwen like an hour into the film when she has no history or back story. Man oh man that place is full of morons.

So, what would be your order for favorite to least favorite?
I haven't seen it yet, and I guess I'm not a true Spider-Man fan because I don't have a great urge to run out to see it. Wait, maybe I AM a true Spider-Man fan... and you all are MAN-SPIDER fans!

oh thats cold.
for me personally
Spider-Man Spider-Man 3 Spider-Man 2
they all fell way short IMO. The second one may be the best film , but there's way too much Raimi got wrong in it that bugs me. By the third, my expections were low enough, I could just enjoy.

and hell yes, that final battle should have been Pete vs Harry. They spent 5 years setting it up.

Somehow, this depresses me.
http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=21830
At some point within the next two weeks, producer Laura Ziskin and the top brass of Sony Pictures Entertainment will sit down together for the first time since "Spider-Man 3" opened May 4 to discuss the franchise's future.
It's a crucial meeting, all the more so because director Sam Raimi will be there. And Raimi, who has sent contradictory messages about his future plans, might at last indicate whether he'll helm the next installment.
"It would be great to have everybody back," Ziskin says. "But no one is going to sign on the dotted line until we have a script. These are the questions being discussed now. The one thing we have answered definitively is: There will be more 'Spider-Man' movies. We just haven't answered what shape they will come in and (Sony) hasn't given us a release date."
The upcoming meeting "will be the first step in a process," Ziskin adds. "'Spider-Man' will continue; I can't tell you every person who will be involved."

I finally saw this on my way back from Europe.
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it certainly wasn't as good as it could have been.
I loved James Franco. I thought he did excellent and GGII was mostly successful. I didn't even mind the costume/glider changes. Visually, during the battle, the glider worked really well, I thought.
I was kind of neutral about Sandman. While I'm not thrilled about the 'I did it for my sick little daughter' thing... I thought Church did a good job, and they managed to not make Sandman too mummy-like.
Venom, however, was completely wasted. Both Eddie and Venom were completely hollow to me. Also a waste was Gwen. Looks aside, she was boring... and possibly more insipid than Snaggletooth.
Surprisingly, Kirsten Dunst didn't bother me as much in this one as she did in Spider-Man 2. Maybe it was due to the lack of 'back yard near the trash can' moments.
Betty again outshone them both. Her first scene with Jameson was priceless. It actually had me laughing out loud. Aunt May again was solid.
The thing that got to me most, however, was that with each progressive movie, I HATE Tobey's portrayal of Peter more and more. He actually works okay as Spider-Man, but his Pete just seems to get further and further from the mark. I'd say that more than anything, it was this that detracted from the movie most for me.
